My name is Alun Jones. I was born in Rhandirmwyn as were my paternal forefathers. I have built this website to capture some of its history. As each generation has gone, many of the events and stories have disappeared with them. I hope that by building this site more information, photographs and stories will be forthcoming in order that future generations will be able to see what life was like in this most wonderful part of Wales. This is just the start and I have considerably more stories, events and photographs which will be included on this site as time allows. So as you can see its an ongoing project.
